Meet Tobar
As a health and fitness professional since 2009, I discovered my passion for helping people find joy in movement after qualifying as a personal trainer. To further expand my skillset, I pursued a degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire and graduated in 2020.
My work since graduation has been exclusively in specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy,
treating patients in a primary care outpatients setting here in Guernsey. I am deeply committed to exercise accessibility and believe that everyone should have the resources to live an active lifestyle.
As part of my professional development, I received IR(ME)R training, allowing me to refer for CT, X-ray, and MRI scans. I am also qualified in the use of personalised blood flow restriction (P-BFR) in MSK rehab, and have had supervised training in ultrasound scanning. I am currently in the process of applying for a PGcert in MSK sonography to provide a more complete service to my patients.
My ultimate goal as a physiotherapist is to help individuals return to the things they love, and I am committed to providing comprehensive care to each and every one of my patients.
About Castel Physio
Castel Physio is a dedicated space for musculoskeletal physiotherapy that is currently under construction. Our location has been expertly built for injury recovery/rehab, and we can't wait to open our doors and start helping our patients reach their full potential.
The physiotherapy room has been designed with your comfort in mind, and we hold ourselves to the highest hygiene, safety, and clinical standards. We have carefully chosen everything in our space to provide you with the best care possible.
In addition to our physiotherapy room, we also have a connected gym space belonging to the adjoining holiday cottages. The gym has been designed with input from our physiotherapist to keep your care in mind while providing high standards for guests looking to stay in shape. We are excited to offer high-end rehabilitation and exercise sessions in this space once we open.
We are still working hard to complete the final touches on our space - so whilst we look forward to welcoming you, please bear with us while the finishing touches are put in place.
